USED HANDICRAFT KERMIS &  ANTIQUE SHOPS IN HANOI

The kermis, to be held at Hanoi Museum on Pham Hung street in Tu Liem district, will have more than 40 boots. The stalls are modeled after the traditional markets in the countryside and feature images reminiscent of the rustic scenes and traditional art space such as the banyan and village temples from collectors and artisans around Hanoi and neighboring northern cities like Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh.
According to Dao Phan Long, chairman of the host Thang Long Antique Collectors' Association, the Hanoi Culture, Tourism and Sports Department had also encouraged travel agencies to bring tourists as part of city tour schedules.
"Though it is fairly far away from the centre, the museum offers large space for buying and selling," he said. Handicrafts include silk, lacquer wares, objects made of bone and horn as well as handmade objects from ethnic minority groups. The market, put on by Thang Long Antique Association, is expected to run regularly from 9am to 4.30pm on every Sunday.
