Ha Long Bay entrance fees to be adjusted from 2014
Over the years, Ha Long Bay has always been an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. With the aim of serving tourists, preserving and promoting the values of this heritage, 
Quang Ninh People’s Committee will adjust the fees to visit Ha Long Bay from January 1st, 2014.
According to Decision No. 2269 issued on August 30th, 2013, by Quang Ninh People’s Committee, entrance fees for Ha Long Bay will be based on where tourists visit. Accordingly, the general entrance fee will be 120,000 VND/person per day, instead of the current price of between 80,000 – 130,000 VND.The entrance fees for visiting some sites, including caves, Titop Island, Soi Sim Island… will be between from 30,000 – 50,000 VND per person. Fees for guests staying over night on the Bay will be 200,000 VND per night, which will be reduced, for longer visits. Children under 15 years old, people aged 70 years and over, the poor and disabled, will get a 50% discount on their fees.
