Vietnam continues to waives & abolishes visas for visitors from 5 European countries
To push more tourists, Vietnamese Prime Minister has issued a decision on 17 June 2015 to waive visa stamping fee for 5 more
European countries; Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Spain.
The valid to implement this decision is from 01 July 2015 and all citizens of these five countries holding a valid 6 month pass will be offered visa exemptions
for single-entry visits of up to 15 days
to visit Vietnam.
The deadline is to 15 July 2016 but Hanoi government just decided to EXTEND the visa exemption for Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Spain to 30 JUNE 2017

Together with this, Vietnam has also waived visa
for single-entry visits of up to 15 days for Danish, Finnish, Japanese, Norwegian, Russian, South Korean, Belarusian, and Swedish nationals starting this year until 2019.
This is a good news for Tourism of Vietnam and with this news, Vietnam hopes to call more tourists from Europe as the tourism has taken a hit as arrivals dropped by nearly 13 percent in the first five months of 2015.
